GET STARTED WITH YOUR RAPIDSHARE ACCOUNT

 

 First things first:

 

 

 

  • Click on "Change E-Mail" please be vigilant in typing your email address as "Lost Password" & "Security Code" are sent to it.

  • You can change your Rapidshare password by clicking on "Change Password".

 

  • Click on "Activate Security Lock" it will send a security code to your email address that you have provided in settings.

  • It is very important as this will ensure that unauthorized person cannot change your Rapidshare Password as it will require the security code which is sent by Rapidshare to your email account.

  HOW CAN YOU DOWNLOAD FROM RAPIDSHARE

 

 There are two ways of downloading from Rapidshare

 

 a) Browser

 You can paste Rapidshare link in your browser then click on "Premium User" provide your Rapidshare account number & password your download will start

 

 b) Download Manager

 It makes perfect sense to use a download manager as it will support multiple downloads, pause, resume & scheduling options

 

 Following guide will inform you how to tune your download manager

 

 

WHAT WE NEED ?

1) Internet Download Manager (IDM) 30 Days Trial or to Purchase IDM for a discounted rate click here

2) Rapidshare Premium Account

 

MAC OS Users click here

STEP 1
 We have used Internet Download Manager (IDM) for this tutorial (Download Trial or To purchase IDM for a discounted rate click here). Settings for other download managers are some what same.

 before that we need to make sure that direct download option is enabled in your Rapidshare premium account

 to do so go to https://ssl.rapidshare.com/premzone.html login in to your premium account with your Rapidshare Login ID & Password

 
STEP 2

Check the "Direct Download"
 
STEP 3

 INSTALL Internet Download Manager (IDM) then open IDM click on DOWNLOADS>OPTIONS>DIAL UP Select your connection name & hit OK

 Most of the times IDM will select your Internet Connection automatically

 
 
 
STEP 4
 

Open Internet download manager, go to Downloads>Options>Site Logins>New

Type Rapidshare.com in server path, user ID & password in respected field & hit OK

Whenever you change your Rapidshare password please remember to change the password in your Download Manager.
 
 
STEP 5

Now go to your favorite website select all the links and press right click and select "Download with IDM"
 

Click on Check All & OK
 

You will find that the files you have just added are scheduled to download at the time specified by you
